Mayfield High School is a public high school located in Mayfield, Ohio, an eastern suburb of Cleveland. It is part of the Mayfield City School District. The school educates about 1,000 students on its campus. Mayfield High School provides students AP (advanced placement) classes, and many honors classes. History The original school named Little Red School House was opened in 1899. It had a first graduating class in 1907. The school remained until 1924 because the city was expanding. Mayfield Central High School opened in 1924 which housed grade 9-12 until population was boomed in 1960 which overcrowded in Mayfield Central High School. Mayfield is a village in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The village is officially named Mayfield, but is commonly referred to as Mayfield Village. Mayfield Village was originally part of Mayfield Township and is now a suburb of Cleveland. The population was 3,460 at the 2010 census. Geography Mayfield is located at (41.547902, -81.443586). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , of which is land and is water. Alina Baraz (russian: Алина Бараз; born September 24, 1993) is an American singer from Cleveland, Ohio. In 2015, Baraz and electronic producer Galimatias released a collaborative EP together titled ''Urban Flora'' through Ultra Music after discovering each other's work online. Mike Trivisonno (September 20, 1947 – October 28, 2021) was an American radio broadcaster, known for hosting his own self-titled afternoon talk show on Cleveland radio station WTAM AM 1100. He was widely referred to simply as "Triv" by callers and the Cleveland media. Career He was a frequent caller on the ''Sportsline'' radio show on WTAM AM 1100 (during this period the station was operating under the WWWE call letters). The show was hosted by the acerbic Pete Franklin and dealt with Cleveland sports. Franklin, who would typically cut off most callers, began giving "Mike from Mayfield" some latitude due to knowledgeable commentary, particularly regarding the Cleveland Browns.
