Maya Sharma
Maya Sharma is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Sasha Behar. Maya is known for her disastrous relationship with Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and her dangerous feud with Dev's wife Sunita Parekh (Shobna Gulati). She held the pair hostage in her flat, and set the building on fire. As she made her escape, Maya was involved in a car accident. Storylines Maya, dubbed "Mad Maya", starts out as a lawyer. Originally, she advises Roy (David Neilson) and Hayley Cropper (Julie Hesmondhalgh) about matters regarding legal custody of baby Amy Barlow. Sasha Behar (born 25 September 1971) is an English actress, known for portraying the role of Maya Sharma in the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Career Behar portrayed the character of villain Maya Sharma in the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'' from 2003 to 2004. The role won her the Best Villain award at the 2005 British Soap Awards. Debra Stephenson (born 4 June 1972) is an English actress, comedian, impressionist and singer, best known for her roles as Diane Powell in ''Playing the Field'', Shell Dockley in '' Bad Girls'' and as Frankie Baldwin in ''Coronation Street''. Shelley Unwin (also Barlow) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Sally Lindsay. She is the daughter of Bev Unwin (Susie Blake). Bill Ward (born 5 May 1967) is an English actor. He is known for his soap opera roles as Mike Parker in Eastenders Charlie Stubbs in ''Coronation Street'' and James Barton in ''Emmerdale''. Early life Ward was educated at Oundle School and Bristol University where he obtained a degree in Modern British History, and worked as an advertising executive before beginning his professional acting career in the 1980s. Keith Peter Thomas Francis Julian John Duffy (born 1 October 1974) is an Irish singer, actor, radio and television presenter and drummer who began his professional music career as part of Irish boy band Boyzone alongside Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately in 1993. Rupert Sinclair Hill (born 15 June 1978) is an English actor. He is known for his roles in several soap operas. Hill started with small roles on television.
