Maya Koikeda
is the pen name of a Japanese people, Japanese mangaka, manga artist. Her real name is , and her pen name was created by saying backward the syllables from her real name. Koikeda graduated with a degree in art from the Kyoto City University of Arts. In addition to her work in manga, she is a part-time lecturer at a vocational school. Hikari, Yamaguchi
is a city located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 1, 1943. It was reorganised with different borders on July 1, 1955, and October 4, 2004. As of October 1, 2016, the city has an estimated population of 51,040, and a population density of 560 persons per square kilometer (1,450.4 persons per square mile). The total area is . ''Umeboshi'' (Japanese: 梅干し, pronounced , ) are pickled (brined) ''ume'' fruits common in Japan. The word ''umeboshi'' is often translated into English as 'salted Japanese plums', 'Japanese plums' or 'preserved plums'. ''Ume'' (''Prunus mume'') is a species of fruit-bearing tree in the genus ''Prunus'', which is often called a "plum", but is actually more closely related to the apricot. Pickled ''ume'' which are not dried are called ''umezuke'' (梅漬け). Umeboshi are a popular kind of Japanese ''tsukemono'' ('pickled thing'; preserved or fermented) and are extremely sour and salty.
