Maya (Uda)
The Maya (russian: Мая) is a river in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. It is the longest tributary of the Uda, with a length of and a drainage basin area of . The name originated in an Evenki word for a basket of birch bark. The river flows across an uninhabited area. The Maya is a destination for watersports, such as rafting. Course The Maya is a left tributary of the Uda. It has its origin in the southern slopes of the Stanovoy Range, at the confluence of rivers Ayumkan and Kun-Manyo. In its upper course the river flows fast roughly in an ESE direction across taiga-covered mountains within a clearly defined valley. Toko-Stanovik
The Toko-Stanovik (russian: Токинский Становик, ''Tokinsky Stanovik'') is a range of mountains in the Russian Far East. Administratively it belongs partly to Amur Oblast, the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and Khabarovsk Krai of the Russian Federation.Google Earth The nearest airport is Neryungri Airport. ''Thymallus'' is a genus of freshwater fish in the salmon family Salmonidae; it is the only genus of subfamily Thymallinae. The type species is '' Thymallus thymallus,'' the grayling. The species in the genus are generically called graylings, but without qualification this also refers specifically to ''T. thymallus.'' Burbot
The burbot (''Lota lota'') is the only gadiform (cod-like) freshwater fish. It is also known as bubbot, mariah, loche, cusk, freshwater cod, freshwater ling, freshwater cusk, the lawyer, coney-fish, lingcod, and eelpout. The species is closely related to the marine common ling and the cusk. It is the only member of the genus ''Lota''. For some time of the year, the burbot lives under ice, and it requires frigid temperatures to breed. ''Coregonus'' is a diverse genus of fish in the salmon family ( Salmonidae). The ''Coregonus'' species are known as whitefishes. The genus contains at least 68 described extant taxa, but the true number of species is a matter of debate. The type species of the genus is ''Coregonus lavaretus''. Most ''Coregonus'' species inhabit lakes and rivers, and several species, including the Arctic cisco (''C. autumnalis''), the Bering cisco (''C. laurettae''), and the least cisco (''C. sardinella'') are anadromous, moving between salt water and fresh water. Taimen
Siberian taimen (''Hucho taimen''), also known as the common taimen (russian: Обыкнове́нный тайме́нь, Obyknovénnyĭ taĭménʹ), Siberian giant trout or Siberian salmon, is a species of salmon-like ray-finned fish from the genus ''Hucho'' in the family Salmonidae. These fish are found in rivers in Siberia and adjacent regions, and are harvested throughout the year. Habits and range The taimen is distributed from the Volga and Pechora River basins in the west to the Yana and Amur River basins in the east, spanning portions of Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and China.
