Pavlodar Region ( kk, Павлодар облысы, translit=Pavlodar oblysy; russian: Павлодарская область, translit=Pavlodarskaya oblast) is a region of Kazakhstan. Koktobe, Pavlodar Region
Koktobe ( kk, Көктөбе, ''Köktöbe'') is a village in May District of Pavlodar Region of Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the Koktobinsky rural district, which also includes the Belogorsk HPP, Section-2 and Section-3 with a total population of 4315 people (1999). KATO code - 555630100. Earlier in the village there was the central estate of the Belogorsk state farm, specializing in milk production. In modern Koktobe, there are construction and transport enterprises that provide services for the construction of facilities and transportation. Alkamergen
Alkamergen ( kk, Алқамерген) is a lake in May District, Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan. The lake lies in the western part of May District, northeast of the town of Bayanaul. Geography Alkamergen lies in a tectonic depression of the Kazakh Uplands, roughly to the northeast of the northeastern slopes of the Bayanaul Range. It is one of the largest lakes in the district. There are a number of smaller lakes in its vicinity. Sulysor, the largest one, is located to the west of the southern shore. Altybaysor lies to the north and larger lake Karasor to the east. River Ashchysu flows into Alkamergen from the west. The water of the lake is brackish, fresher in the spring and with increased salinity in the summer.
