May Bumps 2018
The May Bumps 2018 were a set of rowing races at Cambridge University from Wednesday 13 June 2018 to Saturday 16 June 2018. The event was run as a bumps race and was the 127th set of races in the series of May Bumps which have been held annually in mid-June in this form since 1887. Sport Rowing
Rowing, sometimes called crew in the United States, is the sport of racing boats using oars. It differs from paddling sports in that rowing oars are attached to the boat using oarlocks, while paddles are not connected to the boat. Rowing is divided into two disciplines: sculling and sweep rowing. In sculling, each rower holds two oars—one in each hand, while in sweep rowing each rower holds one oar with both hands.
