''Maximum Violence'' is American death metal band Six Feet Under's 3rd studio album. The album goes back to Chris Barnes' roots in Cannibal Corpse with violent themes/lyrics. It was also the first Six Feet Under album to feature Steve Swanson on guitars. Six Feet Under is an American death metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 1993. The band consists of five members: founding vocalist Chris Barnes, guitarists Ray Suhy and Jack Owen, bassist Jeff Hughell and drummer Marco Pitruzzella. It was originally a side project formed by Barnes with guitarist Allen West of Obituary, but became a full-time commitment after Barnes was dismissed from Cannibal Corpse in 1995. Paul Booth (born in 1967 in Boonton) is a tattoo artist, sculptor, painter, filmmaker and musician living in New York City. Booth is known for his use of black and gray ink tattoo work depicting dark surrealism styled pieces. Torture Killer
Torture Killer is a Finnish death metal band from Turku, formed in 2002. The band consists of five members: guitarists Jari Laine and Tuomas Karppinen, bassist Kim Torniainen, drummer Tuomo Latvala and the current vocalist Pessi Haltsonen. The band was originally a Six Feet Under cover band adopting their moniker from a Six Feet Under song, but soon began composing and performing original material in the same vein. Chris Barnes, the original singer for Cannibal Corpse and current singer for Six Feet Under, officially joined Torture Killer as lead singer in November 2005 and was a part of the recording of the album ''Swarm!''. He left the band in January 2008. Barnes was not involved with their live performances while a part of the band. Greg Gall
Greg Gall (born December 29, 1965 in Tampa, Florida) is a drummer, formerly with the death metal band, Six Feet Under. He does not play the classic death metal style of drumming (blast beats). He uses more of a traditional drum approach, but with the addition of speed, and has very quick feet on the double bass pedals. Gall is married and has one child, and is the brother-in-law to bandmate Terry Butler. Terry Butler
Terry Butler is an American bassist who currently performs with the death metal bands Obituary and Inhuman Condition. He was also a member of Six Feet Under, Massacre and Death. He was credited on the Death album ''Spiritual Healing'', and band leader Chuck Schuldiner stated that on the latter Death album "Terry contributed to the songwriting as well". He is married with three children, and is brother-in-law of former bandmate Greg Gall. Before he joined Six Feet Under, he was in Massacre with Rick Rozz, whom he played with in ''Leprosy''-era Death. In an interview, Butler has stated: "I'd rather be popular in the underground, than be unknown in the mainstream." Thin Lizzy
Thin Lizzy are an Irish hard rock band formed in Dublin in 1969. Their music reflects a wide range of influences, including blues, soul music, psychedelic rock and traditional Irish folk music, but is generally classified as hard rock or sometimes heavy metal. Two of the founding members, drummer Brian Downey and bass guitarist, lead vocalist and principal songwriter Phil Lynott, met while still in school. Lynott led the group throughout their recording career of twelve studio albums, writing most of the material. "Jailbreak" is a song by Thin Lizzy that originally appeared as the title track on their 1976 album '' Jailbreak''. Along with "The Boys Are Back in Town", it is one of their most popular songs, played frequently on classic rock radio. Steve Swanson (musician)
Steve Swanson is the former lead guitarist for the death metal band Six Feet Under. He took over guitar duties from Allen West (of Obituary), who left the band in late 1997. Before Swanson joined in February 1998, he was in Massacre with Terry Butler on bass. He has two children. In early December 2008, Swanson's house was broken into, and a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, six guitars, a Line Six guitar amp, and a Hewlett Packard laptop were stolen.
