Maximilian Kieffer
Maximilian Kieffer (born 25 June 1990) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Career Kieffer was born in Bergisch Gladbach. He played most of his golf at Hubbelrath Golf Club in Düsseldorf, the same club as Martin Kaymer. He represented the German National team from 2005-2010 and represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2006. He played college golf briefly in the United States at the University of Florida. He turned professional in 2010. Kieffer joined the Challenge Tour in 2011 and won his first tournament in 2012 at the Gujarat Kensville Challenge in India. In April 2013, Kieffer lost in a sudden-death playoff at the Open de España. In the joint longest playoff in European Tour history, Kieffer was beaten by a Raphaël Jacquelin birdie on the ninth playoff hole. Bergisch Gladbach () is a city in the Cologne/Bonn Region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and capital of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis (district). Nicolas Meitinger (born 10 February 1984) is a German professional golfer. Career Meitinger was born in Cologne, Germany. He turned professional in 2005 and initially played on the EPD Tour, where he had six wins. The Challenge de France was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, played in France. It was held for the first time in May 1998 at Golf de Sablé-Solesmes in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, before moving to October for the following three seasons, during which it was played on a succession of French courses. The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Tata Steel Professional Golf Tour of India, is a professional golf tour for men based in India. The tour was formed in 2006, as the successor to the Indian PGA Golf Tour, which ran from 1997 to 2006. The PGTI serves as a feeder tour for higher level tours such as the Asian Tour. Many Indian players have become members of the Asian Tour, while a small number have joined the world's leading two tours, the European Tour and the United States-based PGA Tour. The PGTI became a member of the International Federation of PGA Tours in 2009, but its events did not carry Official World Golf Ranking points unless they were co-sanctioned by tours that are included in the world ranking system. Rahil Gangjee (born 2 October 1978) is a professional golfer from India who currently plays on the Asian Tour, where he has two victories. Early life and amateur career Gangjee was born in Calcutta, but now resides in Bengaluru. He was educated at La Martiniere Calcutta. He had a decorated amateur career that included the 1997 Sri Lankan Amateur and the East India Amateur in 1997, 1998 and 2000. He would soon become India's number one amateur in 1999. He kept the title of being India's top ranked amateur by winning the Northern India Amateur in 2000. In the same year he won the Western India Amateur, by a margin of 19 strokes. The 2021 European Tour was the 50th season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972 and the 13th and final edition of the Race to Dubai. The Race to Dubai was won by Collin Morikawa, becoming the first American player to do so. Matti Schmid was named Rookie of the Year. Changes for 2021 Following a heavily disrupted 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a new look to the calendar announced in December 2020, with tournaments being scheduled in groups based on location. Felipe Andrés Aguilar Schuller (born November 7, 1974) is a Chilean professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Career In 2006 he became the second Chilean, after Roy Mackenzie to earn full membership to the European Tour but failed to retain full playing rights at the end of the season. In 2007 he won two events on the Challenge Tour in a 4-week span. Due to his success on the Challenge Tour he rejoined the European Tour in 2008. In February 2008, Aguilar won his first European Tour event at the Astro Indonesia Open. He birdied the final hole while the erstwhile leader Jeev Milkha Singh bogeyed for a two shot swing that saw the Chilean win by one stroke. The 2013 European Tour was the fifth edition of the Race to Dubai and the 42nd season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972.
