Maxim Emelyanychev
Maxim Yuryevich Emelyanychev (Максим Юрьевич Емельянычев; born 28 August 1988, Dzerzhinsk) is a Russian conductor, pianist, harpsichordist and cornetist. From a musical family, Emelyanychev studied music at the Nizhny Novgorod Choral College from 1995 to 2003. Emelyanychev joined the period instrument ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro in 2011. He became chief conductor of Il Pomo d'Oro in 2016. He and the ensemble have recorded commercially for Erato. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra (SCO) is an Edinburgh-based UK chamber orchestra. One of Scotland's five National Performing Arts Companies, the SCO performs throughout Scotland, including annual tours of the Scottish Highlands and Islands and South of Scotland. Robin Ticciati (born 16 April 1983, in London) is a British conductor of Italian ancestry. Biography Ticciati's paternal grandfather, Niso Ticciati, was a composer, arranger, cellist, and keyboardist. His father is a barrister, and his mother is a therapist. His older brother Hugo Ticciati is a violinist, and his sister is a theology professor. As a youth, Ticciati studied violin, piano and percussion, and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. He began conducting at age 15 whilst attending St Paul's School. Ticciati read music at Clare College, University of Cambridge. Although Ticciati has not had any formal conducting training, he counts Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Colin Davis among his conducting mentors. Riccardo Minasi (born 1978) is an Italian violinist and conductor in the field of historically informed performance. Life Born in Rome, Minasi received his first music lessons from his mother, studying modern violin with Paolo Centurioni and Alfredo Fiorentini. He then turned to the baroque violin and its repertoire, his teachers in this field being Enrico Parizzi and Luigi Mangiocavallo.
