Max Phipps
Maxwell John Phipps (18 November 1939 – 6 August 2000) was an Australian actor, known for a number of roles in theatre, films and television during the 1960s until the end of the 1990s. Life and career Phipps was born in Dubbo and grew up in Parkes. He started his acting training in Sydney at the age of 21, at the Ensemble Theatre. There he appeared in such productions as ''Buffalo Skinner'', '' Long Day's Journey into Night'', ''Fortune and Men's Eyes'', ''The Removalists'' and '' Rooted''. In the Sydney Opera House's inaugural season he played Harry Bustle in '' What If You Died Tomorrow?''. In London he reprised this role, as well as appearing in ''Don's Party''. He played Dr Frank-N-Furter in ''The Rocky Horror Show'' in Melbourne in 1975–77. Dubbo () is a city in the Orana Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is the largest population centre in the Orana region, with a population of 43,516 at June 2021. The city is located at the intersection of the Newell, Mitchell, and Golden highways. The nearest city, Orange, is about away. Edward Gough Whitlam (11 July 191621 October 2014) was the 21st prime minister of Australia, serving from 1972 to 1975. The longest-serving federal leader of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) from 1967 to 1977, he was notable for being the head of a Reformism, reformist and socially progressive administration that extraordinarily ended with his removal as prime minister after controversially being dismissed by the governor-general of Australia, Sir John Kerr (governor-general), John Kerr, at the climax of the 1975 Australian constitutional crisis. Terence Murray Lewis, GM (born 29 February 1928) is a former Commissioner of the Queensland Police Service who was convicted and jailed for corruption and forgery as a result of the Fitzgerald Inquiry. He was stripped of his knighthood and two other awards in consequence. Lewis has continued to protest his innocence, and sued his former lawyers and pursued appeals.
