Max Lundgren
Max Lundgren (22 March 1937 – 27 May 2005) was a Swedish author of children's books. He debuted in 1962 with the book '' Hunden som äntligen visslade'', and has since written a total of about 50 books. Some of his books have become TV series, among other ''Pojken med guldbyxorna'' and his books about fictional Swedish soccer club ''Åshöjdens BK''. Landskrona
Landskrona (old da, Landskrone) is a town in Scania, Sweden. Located on the shores of the Öresund, it occupies a natural port, which has lent the town at first military and subsequent commercial significance. Ferries operate from Landskrona to the island of Ven, and for many years there was also a connection to Copenhagen. Landskrona is part of the Øresund region. It is the seat of Landskrona Municipality. Landskrona is also the name of a district in Landskrona Municipality which is slightly smaller than the urban area. History The city of Landskrona is usually claimed to have been founded in 1413 by the King of Denmark, Eric of Pomerania, as a trading city intended to compete with Danish towns under the control of the Hanseatic League. ''Expressen'' (''The Express'') is one of two nationwide evening newspapers in Sweden, the other being '' Aftonbladet''. ''Expressen'' was founded in 1944; its symbol is a wasp and its slogans are "it stings" or "''Expressen'' to your rescue". Overview The first edition of ''Expressen'' was published on 16 November 1944. A main feature that day was an interview with the crew members of a British bomber who were successful in sinking the German ship ''Tirpitz''. A project of Albert Bonnier Jr., Carl-Adam Nycop, and Ivar Harrie – who was to become the first editor-in-chief – Expressen was created in part to push back against "national socialism and related violent ideologies." The Swedish Film Institute ( sv, Svenska Filminstitutet) was founded in 1963 to support and develop the Swedish film industry. The institute is housed in the ''Filmhuset'' building located in Gärdet, Östermalm in Stockholm. The building, completed in 1970, was designed by architect Peter Celsing. Function The Swedish Film Institute supports Swedish filmmaking and allocates grants for production, distribution and public showing of Swedish films in Sweden. It also promotes Swedish cinema internationally. Furthermore, the Institute organises the annual Guldbagge Awards. The Swedish Film Database is published by the institute. ''Åshöjdens BK'' is a book series about a fictional soccer club in northwestern Scania, Sweden, created by Max Lundgren Plot Appearing in a series of four novels, it depicts a soccer club being promoted across a promotion and relegation-based Swedish league system before losing the Allsvenskan qualifying game.
