Max Hudghton
Max Kenneth Hudghton (born 2 September 1976 in Victoria, Australia) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Selected at pick 15 in the 1996 AFL Draft, Hudghton was a debutant who made his name in the St Kilda Football Club's 1997 season. Hudghton played in 14 of 22 matches in the 1997 AFL Premiership Season home and away rounds in which St Kilda Football Club qualified in first position for the 1997 AFL Finals Series, winning the club’s 2nd Minor Premiership and 1st McClelland Trophy. Hudghton was a versatile and tall defender who played on forwards of nearly any size. His defensive skills were an important part of the St Kilda team over his career. Of the regular fullbacks in 2006, Hudghton conceded fewest goals. While his disposals average of 10 was below average for a defender, Hudghton's disposal efficiency of 90% was elite. Diamond Creek Football Club
The Diamond Creek Football Club is an Australian rules football club located in Diamond Creek – an outer north-eastern suburb of Melbourne. History Formed in 1904, the club was a founding member of the Whittlesea District Football Association. A move to the Bourke-Evelyn Football League in 1906 was very successful with premierships in 1906 and 1908 and being runners-up in 1907 and 1912. Nevertheless, Diamond Creek moved to the Heidelberg District Football League after World War I and, in 1922 joined Eltham, Greensborough, Kangaroo Ground, Templestowe and Warrandyte as founding members of the Diamond Valley Football League. 2005 Division 2 Premiership Diamond Creek's last premiership was in 2005 in division 2 defeating Greensborough Football Club. Russell Robertson
Russell "Robbo" Robertson (born 24 November 1978) is a former professional Australian rules footballer, who last played for the Melbourne Football Club. Robertson is one of the Melbourne's great goalkickers, being one of just four players in the club's history to have led the goalkicking in four or more seasons. Robertson is well known for his ability to take regular spectacular marks. Late in his career he was also known outside the football community, through reality television appearances, modelling and singing. The All-Australian team is an all-star team of Australian rules footballers, selected by a panel at the end of each season. It represents a complete team, including an interchange bench, of the best-performed players during the season, led by that season's premiership coach. Despite its nature, the All-Australian team is only ceremonial. Though the AFL played an All-Star match in 2020, it was the first in 12 years, and the difference in skill level between the All-Australian team and the nearest international competitor is currently too large for any contest to be competitive.
