Mauro Mendonça
Mauro Mendonça (born April 2, 1931) is a Brazilian actor. Born in Ubá, he started his career in 1955 in the Teatro Brasileiro de Comédia. He debuted in the 1963 TV Excelsior telenovela ''Corações em Conflito''. He went on to act on Rede Record and TV Tupi before moving to Rede Globo in 1973, where he continues to practice acting. He has been married to actress Rosamaria Murtinho since 1959, and has three children: director Mauro Mendonça Filho, actor Rodrigo Mendonça, and musical producer João Paulo Mendonça. Ubá
Ubá is a municipality located in the Zona da Mata mesoregion of Minas Gerais, Brazil, southeast of Belo Horizonte, and north of Rio de Janeiro. The estimated population of the city of Ubá was 116,797 in 2020. The current mayor of Ubá is Edson Teixeira Filho. ''Estúpido Cupido'' is a Brazilian telenovela produced by TV Globo. It aired from 25 August 1976 to 26 February 1977 at 7pm. Written by Mário Prata and directed by Régis Cardoso, it was the last Globo telenovela recorded in black-and-white, with the exception of the last two chapters, directed by Walter Avancini using the then new color technology. It was the first telenovela written by Mário Prata. Due to the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, ''Estúpido Cupido'' debuted exceptionally on a Wednesday.
