Maurizio Malagnini
Maurizio Malagnini is an Italian composer who lives in London. Career Maurizio Malagnini is a composer based in London, who earned a master's degree with honors from the Royal College of Music in 2008. Since then, Malagnini has composed the music for many episodes of television for BBC One. In 2015 his score to '' The Paradise'' has been recognized with an Emmy nomination, and has been hailed as a "masterpiece of musical storytelling." Broadcast in 132 territories, ''The Paradise'' earned Malagnini international recognition, including three Music + Sound Awards. Afterwards, he composed the music for the fourth, the fifth and the sixth season of the period drama ''Call the Midwife''. ''The Paradise'' is a British television costume drama series co-produced by BBC Studios and '' Masterpiece''. ''The Paradise'' premiered in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 25 September 2012 and premiered in the United States on PBS on 6 October 2013. Lisa Lynch (30 August 1979 – 11 March 2013) was a British journalist, known for writing about her experience of having cancer on her blog, ''Alright Tit'', and in a book, ''The C-Word''. She was portrayed by Sheridan Smith in the 90-minute BBC television drama, ''The C-Word'', written by Nicole Taylor and directed by Tim Kirkby. ''Muddle Earth'' is a children's novel by Paul Stewart, published in 2003, and illustrated by Chris Riddell. It is largely a parody of ''The Lord of the Rings'' by J. R. R. Tolkien. Like ''LOTR'' it is divided into three sections: ''Englebert the Enormous'', ''Here Be Dragons'' and ''Doctor Cuddles of Giggle Glade''. In 2011, a sequel titled '' Muddle Earth Too'' was published.
