Mauritius (play)
''Mauritius'' is a play by Theresa Rebeck. It opened on Broadway in 2007. Production ''Mauritius'' premiered on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre on October 4, 2007, and closed November 25, 2007. This play marked the Broadway debut for Rebeck. The play was directed by Doug Hughes with scenic design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Catherine Zuber and lighting design by Paul Gallo in a Manhattan Theatre Club production. Bobby Cannavale received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play. The play had its world premiere in Boston by the Huntington Theatre Company at the Boston Center for the Arts Calderwood Pavilion in October 2006. Theresa Rebeck
Theresa Rebeck (born February 19, 1958) is an American playwright, television writer, and novelist. Her work has appeared on the Broadway and Off-Broadway stage, in film, and on television. Among her awards are the Mystery Writers of America's Edgar Award. In 2012, she received the Athena Film Festival Award for Excellence as a Playwright and Author of Films, Books, and Television. She is a 2009 recipient of the Alex Awards. Her works have influenced American playwrights by bringing a feminist edge in her old works. Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model.
