Maurie Annese
Maurie Annese (born July 1971, Adelaide) is an Australian actor and producer. He most recently starred in and co-produced ''I Can't Believe it's Not Countdown, it's a Musical Comedy'', in collaboration with Brian Mannix and Crown Entertainment. In 2002 during Melbourne’s Mid Summer Festival he produced the sell out hit musical “I Should Be So Lucky” at Chapel Off Chapel in collaboration with writer, director and co-producer David Knox. Brian Mannix (born 7 October 1961 in Melbourne) is an Australian rock music singer and actor. He is best known as the lead singer of 1980s band Uncanny X-Men. Career Early life Mannix won a 'beauty contest' in his childhood after being entered by a family friend, claiming the title Mr Ocean Grove 1971. 1981–1987: Uncanny X-Men From 1981 to 1987, Mannix was the lead singer of 1980s band Uncanny X-Men. ''Body Melt'' is a 1993 Australian independent satirical science fiction biopunk and black comedy body horror fantasy film directed by Philip Brophy and written by Brophy and Rod Bishop.
