Mauricio Domogan
Mauricio "Morris" Gamsao Domogan (born October 10, 1946) is a Filipino lawyer and politician and is the longest serving mayor of the city of Baguio. A member of the Lakas Kampi CMD party, Domogan served three terms as mayor of Baguio, initially as acting mayor from July to October 1992, and officially as the new mayor in October 1992 after succeeding the mayoralty post from Ramon Labo after he was disqualified due to his citizenship status, until 2001, and again from 2010 to 2019. He has also been elected to three terms as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines, representing the Lone District of Baguio. He first won election to Congress in 2001, and was re-elected in 2004 and 2007. In 2019, barred by the constitution to a fourth term, he ran once more for the city's lone congressional seat, against the incumbent Congressman, Marquez Go, to whom Domogan suffered the first loss in his political career. Benjamin Magalong
Benjamin "Benjie" Bañez Magalong (born December 15, 1960) is a Filipino politician and retired police officer serving as the mayor of Baguio since 2019. Before entering politics, he served in the Philippine Constabulary and Philippine National Police (PNP) for 38 years. He was the chief of the Cordillera regional police office, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), and the Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM). He retired with the rank of Police Deputy Director General as the PNP's Deputy Chief for Operations. Born and raised in Baguio, Magalong graduated from the Philippine Military Academy in 1982. He first served in Abra and Agusan del Norte before joining the Special Action Force (SAF) and heading its Special Operations Battalion from 1997 to 2001. The city is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines through its lone congressional district. Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats, abbreviated as Lakas–CMD and also known simply as Lakas, is a political party in the Philippines. The mayor of Baguio ( fil, Punong Lungsod ng Baguio) is the chief executive of the government of Baguio, a highly urbanized city territorially located in Benguet and the regional center of the Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines. The mayor leads the city's departments in executing ordinances and delivering public services and holds office at the Baguio City Hall.
