Mauricio Cabrera
Mauricio Adolfo Cabrera Valdez (born September 22, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves. Career Atlanta Braves Cabrera signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent in July 2010. He made his professional debut the following season with the Dominican Summer League Braves, logging a 1-5 record and 4.30 ERA in 19 appearances. In 2012, Cabrera played for the rookie ball Danville Braves, recording a 2.97 ERA in 12 games. He spent the 2013 season with the Single-A Rome Braves, posting a 3-8 record and 4.18 ERA in 24 appearances. The next year, he split the season between the GCL Braves and the High-A Lynchburg Hillcats, pitching to a 5.73 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 33.0 innings of work. Lynchburg Hillcats
The Lynchburg Hillcats are a Minor League Baseball team in Lynchburg, Virginia that plays in the Carolina League and is the Single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. They were a farm team of the Atlanta Braves from 2011 to 2014, the Cincinnati Reds in 2010, and the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1995 to 2009. The Hillcats play home games at Calvin Falwell Field; refurbished and renamed in 2004, the stadium seats 4,291 fans. In May 2016, the franchise announced that they would rebrand after the season. The Mississippi Braves, or M-Braves as they are referred to locally, are a Minor League Baseball team based in Pearl, Mississippi, a suburb of Jackson. The team is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves and plays in the Southern League. The team is owned and operated by Endeavor. Endeavor purchased the Braves from Liberty Media in 2022. Statcast is a high-speed, high-accuracy, automated tool developed to analyze player movements and athletic abilities in Major League Baseball (MLB). Statcast was introduced to all thirty MLB stadiums in 2015, a year now considered the beginning of the Statcast era especially by media outlets that extensively cover baseball. The Statcast brand is also licensed to ESPN, which uses it to brand alternate statistical simulcasts of the network's games on ESPN2 and ESPN+. The Mexican League (, ) is a professional baseball league based in Mexico and the oldest running professional league in the country. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season. The Guerreros de Oaxaca (English: Oaxaca Warriors) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. Their home field is Estadio Eduardo Vasconcelos.
