Maurice Dunne (racing Driver)
Maurice Dunne (born 23 December 1955) is a racing driver, active in years 1975-1989. He is of Irish nationality, and lives in Rathfarnham, Dublin, Ireland. Career 1975 He started in the Mondello Racing Drivers School under John and Marijka Murphy in Mondello Park Donore, Co. Kildare on 29 November 1975, the same date as the death of racing driver Graham Hill. 1976-1977 He raced with Mondello Park Racing Driver School. He suffered a crash in a Lotus 61 at Mondello Park. 1978 Driving a Crosslé 20F bought for £1000, he competed in the 1978 Irish Formula Ford Championship, won by Michael Roe. He placed 3rd at the Phoenix Park Motor Races, Dublin 1978. 1979 Driving a Formula Ford Van Diemen, he competed at the Formula Ford Festival Brand Hatch 1979. Stirling Moss
Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss (17 September 1929 – 12 April 2020) was a British Formula One racing driver. An inductee into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, he won 212 of the 529 races he entered across several categories of competition and has been described as "the greatest driver never to win the World Championship". In a seven-year span between 1955 and 1961 Moss finished as championship runner-up four times and in third place another three times. Early life Moss was born in London, son of Alfred Moss, a dentist of Bray, Berkshire, and Aileen (née Craufurd). 1984 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 1984 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 52nd Grand Prix of Endurance, and took place on 16 – 17 June 1984. It was also the third round of the 1984 World Endurance Championship. The works Rothmans Porsche team boycotted the 1984 Le Mans race due to a disagreement between Porsche and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) over the fuel regulations, meaning that drivers such as multiple winners Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell were absent from the race for the first time in many years. Porsche originally stated that its contracted drivers would not be allowed to race with any other team, however they did relent only two or three weeks before the race. 1983 co-winner Vern Schuppan was the only member of the Rothmans team to race in 1984, eagerly snapped up by Kremer Racing to drive a Porsche 956B he would share with fellow Australian, Formula One World Champion Alan Jones, and experienced French driver Jean-Pierre Jarier. 1983 European Grand Prix
The 1983 European Grand Prix (formally the John Player Grand Prix of Europe) was a Formula One motor race held at Brands Hatch on 25 September 1983. It was the fourteenth race of the 1983 Formula One World Championship. The 76-lap race was won by Nelson Piquet, driving a Brabham- BMW. Piquet's Drivers' Championship rival Alain Prost was second in a factory Renault, while Nigel Mansell was third in a Lotus-Renault. With the win, Piquet moved within two points of Prost at the top of the championship with one race remaining. Eddie Irvine
Edmund Irvine Jr. (; born 10 November 1965) is a former racing driver from Northern Ireland. He competed in Formula One between 1993 and 2002, and finished runner-up in the 1999 World Drivers' Championship, driving for Scuderia Ferrari. He began his career at the age of seventeen when he entered the Formula Ford Championship, achieving early success, before progressing to the Formula Three and Formula 3000 Championships. He made his Formula One debut in 1993 with Jordan Grand Prix, where he achieved early notoriety for his involvement in incidents on and off the track. He scored his first podium in with Jordan, before moving to Ferrari in . Martin Donnelly (racing Driver)
Hugh Peter Martin Donnelly (born 26 March 1964) is a motor racing driver from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He competed in Formula Three and Formula 3000 where he won 3 races. In the 1988 International Formula 3000 season he placed third despite only competing in the final five rounds of the championship. He raced in Formula One in and , until a serious crash during practice at the Jerez circuit ended his Formula One career.
