Maud Molyneux
Maud Molyneux (27 March 1948 – 16 September 2008) was a transgender French actress, journalist and costume designer. Career Maud Molyneux started out as an activist in the Front homosexuel d'action révolutionnaire (FHAR), and then founded the Gazolines movement with Patrick Bertaux and Paquita Paquin. In the 1970s and 80s, she became widely known for her interviews in ''Façade'' magazine and her columns in the ''Libération'' (also known as ''Libé'') daily French newspaper, in which she wrote about television and fashion (as herself), literature (under the pseudonym of Dora Forbes), and cinema (under the pseudonym of Louella Intérim). Front Homosexuel D'action Révolutionnaire
The front homosexuel d'action révolutionnaire ( en, Homosexual Front for Revolutionary Action) (FHAR) was a loose Parisian movement founded in 1971, resulting from a union between lesbian feminists and gay activists. If the movement could be considered to have leaders, they were Guy Hocquenghem and Françoise d'Eaubonne, while other members included Christine Delphy, Daniel Guérin, and Laurent Dispot. It had disappeared by 1976. Surviving early activists also include painter and surrealistic photographer Yves Hernot, now living in Sydney, Australia. The FHAR are known for having given radical visibility to homosexuals during the 1970s in the wake of student and proletarian uprisings of 1968, which had given little space to the liberation of women and homosexuals. ''Cinématon'' is a 207-hour-long experimental film by French director Gérard Courant. It was the longest film ever released until 2011. Composed over 30 years from 1978 until 2009, it consists of a series of over 3,111 silent vignettes (cinématons), each 3 minutes and 25 seconds long, of various celebrities, artists, journalists and friends of the director, each doing whatever they want for the allotted time.
