Matías Emilio Delgado (born 15 December 1982) is a retired Argentine footballer who last played as an attacking midfielder for Swiss Super League Club FC Basel. Club career Early career Delgado started his career in the youth team of River Plate. He also played over 50 top division games for Chacarita Juniors before deciding to test himself in Europe at the age of 20.
