Matuzalém Francelino da Silva (born 10 June 1980), commonly known as just Matuzalém, is a Brazilian football manager and former player, who played as a midfielder. Club career Early career Matuzalém began his career at Salvador-based Vitória and quickly established his place in lower level of the Brazil national team. Described as a "goalscoring midfielder" by Eurosport, he first emerged in the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship in Egypt. There, he scored three goals in six games, including a critical goal in the final match. Nicola Mora (born 31 July 1979) is an Italian footballer who played as a defender. Career Mora started his career at hometown club Parma. After played 3 league matches, he joined Napoli of Serie B in temporary deal and was signed by another second division club Torino in co-ownership deal for 2.3 billion lire (€1.188 million). Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (born 3 June 1980), known as Amauri, is an Italian former footballer who played as a striker. Matteo Guardalben (born 5 June 1974) is an Italian former professional football goalkeeper. Club career Guardalben was born in Nogara, Province of Verona. After five seasons with Parma, Guardalben (along with Nicola Mora and Matuzalém) joined Piacenza in a co-ownership deal. Half of Guardalben's rights was valued for 3 billion lire. Guardalben was exchanged with Cristiano Lupatelli in January 2006. The 2001–02 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 100th season of top-tier Italian football, the 70th in a round-robin tournament. It was composed by 18 teams, for the 14th consecutive time from season 1988–89. The first two teams qualified directly to the UEFA Champions League, teams ending in the third and fourth places had to play Champions League qualifications, teams ending in the fifth and sixth places qualified for the UEFA Cup (another spot was given to the winner of Coppa Italia), while the last four teams were to be relegated to Serie B. However, Fiorentina's subsequent bankruptcy led to them being placed in the fourth tier of Italian football.
