Matthew Nicholas Roberts (born November 1977) is an English television presenter, best known for his former work on BBC Sport's MotoGP coverage and latterly in superbike coverage broadcast to UK. Education Roberts attended All Saints High School in Huddersfield as well as Greenhead College and Huddersfield University. As of 2021 Roberts is undertaking a specialist post-graduate degree known as Master of Sport Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University. MotoGP, Isle of Man TT and Superbike work Roberts has been working in MotoGP since 2001, initially as a writer and then as a commentator. Since 2005 he has expanded his portfolio within the paddock, producing press material for several teams and contributing articles to publications in the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany and the USA. Matthew Roberts (born 31 July 2003) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early football Growing up, Roberts honed his football skills on the fields of Langhorne Creek Football Club, where his passion for the game ignited. This grassroots experience laid the foundation for his journey in the sport. Transitioning to his school years, he showcased his talent proudly donning the colors of St. Peter's College, Adelaide. Roberts then joined the South Adelaide Football Club and also represented South Australia at consecutive Under 16 National Championships and then consecutive Under 18 Championships. Blaggers ITA (formerly The Blaggers) were a British punk rock band founded in 1988. Main vocalist Matty 'Blagg' Roberts had previously fronted Oi! band Complete Control, who released an LP on ''Oi! Records'' in 1985 Blaggers ITA were noted for their strong anti-fascist and left wing lyrics and activism. Although the band initially played in a generic Oi! style, they later added a trumpet player and incorporated influences from hip hop and electronic dance music, including sampling, and added the letters ''ITA'' to their name ("In The Area"), inspired by Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound Records. The band had close links with Anti Fascist Action (AFA), donating money to the organisation and promoting its ideology. The band's support for revolutionary politics and AFA meant that in the early 1990s there were part of direct action against Neo-Nazi groups such as Blood & Honour and C18.
