Matty Longstaff
Matthew Ben Longstaff (born 21 March 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He is currently a free agent, having most recently played for Newcastle United. Club career Newcastle United Longstaff made his first-team debut for Newcastle United on 28 August 2019, starting against Leicester City in the EFL Cup. He scored in the 72nd minute of his Premier League debut, in a 1–0 win against Manchester United on 6 October. The stunning strike outside the box was later voted as Premier League Goal of the Month. He then went on to score in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, the opening goal in a 4–1 defeat. Following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2019–20 season, Longstaff signed a new two-year contract with Newcastle United on 22 August 2020. Rotherham
Rotherham () is a large minster and market town in South Yorkshire, England. The town takes its name from the River Rother which then merges with the River Don. The River Don then flows through the town centre. It is the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. North Shields
North Shields () is a town in the Borough of North Tyneside in Tyne and Wear, England. It is north-east of Newcastle upon Tyne and borders nearby Wallsend and Tynemouth. Since 1974, it has been in the North Tyneside borough of Tyne and Wear: it's historic administration was as part of the Castle ward in county of Northumberland. The English Football League Trophy, known for sponsorship purposes as the Papa Johns Trophy after restaurant chain Papa John's Pizza, is an annual English association football knockout competition open to all clubs in EFL League One and EFL League Two, with the addition of 16 under-21 teams from Premier League and EFL Championship clubs since the 2016–17 season. Luis James Longstaff (born 24 February 2001) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Career Longstaff made his professional debut for Liverpool on 17 December 2019, starting in the away match against Aston Villa in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup. On 31 August 2021, he joined Scottish third tier side Queen's Park on loan until 30 June 2022. In June 2022 it was announced by Liverpool that he would leave the club at the end of the month when his contract expired. On 4 August 2022, he joined Scottish Championship side Cove Rangers. Alan Thompson (footballer, Born 1973)
Alan Thompson (born 22 December 1973) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. As a player he was a midfielder who notably played in the Premier League for Bolton Wanderers and Aston Villa and in the Scottish Premiership with Celtic. He also played in the Football League with Newcastle United, Leeds United and Hartlepool United He made 550 appearances during his career and was capped by England once against Sweden in 2004. Following retirement, Thompson has worked as a coach for Newcastle United, Celtic, Birmingham City and Blackpool. Whitley Warriors are an ice hockey team based in Whitley Bay in the north east of England. Founded in 1957 as the Bees, they changed their name to Whitley Warriors in 1964. Ice Hockey
Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey.
