Mattie Franklin
Spider-Woman (Martha "Mattie" Franklin) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is the third character to be called Spider-Woman. Publication history The character first appeared in ''Spectacular Spider-Man'' #262 (in the shadows), in November 1998. Her first full appearance was in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #441 (1998), and her first appearance as Spider-Woman was in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' vol. 2 #5 (1999), the beginning of a three-part crossover which led directly into the launch of her own ''Spider-Woman'' series. Like ''Spider-Woman'' volume 1, ''Spider-Woman'' volume 3 pitted the protagonist against macabre and grotesque villains, and featured a closing story arc in which she looks into a mirror and sees her own face shriveled down to skin and bones. Julie Power (also known as Lightspeed) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She first appeared in ''Power Pack'' #1 and was created by Louise Simonson and June Brigman. Publication history Julie Power featured in all 62 issues of ''Power Pack'' published by Marvel Comics between 1984 and 1991. Ricochet is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It was originally an alternate identity used by the Character (arts), fictional superhero Spider-Man and later adopted by college student Jonathan "Johnny" Gallo. Darkhawk (Christopher Powell) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in ''Darkhawk'' #1 (March 1991), and was created by writer Tom DeFalco and artist Mike Manley. Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in ''Marvel Spotlight'' #32 (cover-dated February 1977), and 50 issues of an ongoing series titled ''Spider-Woman'' followed. At its conclusion, she was killed, and though later resurrected, she fell into disuse, supplanted by other characters using the name Spider-Woman.
