Matthieu Onoseke
Matthieu Onoseke Wembi (born 18 March 1988) is a football (soccer), football player who played for SC Cilu. His only cap for the Congo DR national football team was in Kinshasa on 22 August 2007 in a friendly match against Angola national football team, Angola. He also scored the first goal of the match. Onoseke participated in the 2009 African Nations Championship finals. Congo DR National Football Team
The DR Congo national football team, recognised by FIFA as Congo DR (formerly known as Zaire, alternatively known as Congo-Kinshasa), represents the Democratic Republic of the Congo in men's international football and it is controlled by the Congolese Association Football Federation. They are nicknamed ''the Leopards''. The team is a member of FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Congo DR have been ranked as high as 28th in the FIFA Rankings. The African Nations Championship (french: Championnat d'Afrique des Nations; abbreviated as CHAN), known as the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship for sponsorship purposes, is a biennial African national association football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and first announced on 11 September 2007. The participating nations must consist of players playing in their national league competitions.
