Matthew Cottrell
Matt Cottrell (born 29 February 2000) is an Australian rules football, Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Carlton Football Club through the 2018 AFL draft#Pre-season supplemental selection period, 2019 Pre-season supplemental selection period. Early football Cottrell played football for the Pearcedale, Victoria, Pearcedale Football Club. He played for the Dandenong Stingrays in the NAB League for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Although Cottrell only played 2 games in 2017, he cemented his spot in 2018 and played 19 games. He is the grandson of former player Len Cottrell. Dandenong Stingrays
The Dandenong Southern Stingrays are an Australian rules football team in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition. 1992 saw the birth of the Southern Stingrays, developed under the leadership of Steve Kennedy (Regional Manager) and Ron Roach (Promotions Manager) with its home base located at Ben Kavanagh Reserve, Mordialloc, Victoria, Mordialloc. The side is coached in the inaugural year by Peter Russo. In 1995 the club moved from Mordialloc to Dandenong, Victoria, Dandenong and it also changed its name to the Dandenong Southern Stingrays. The club is currently under the leadership of Darren Flanigan (Region Talent Manager) and Matthew Crozier (Female Talent Coordinator) with the home base located at Shepley Oval, Dandenong. The season featured eighteen clubs. Northern Blues
The Preston Football Club, which trades and plays as the Northern Bullants, is a long-established Australian rules football club based in Preston that plays in the Victorian Football League (VFL). It plays its home games at the Preston City Oval. The club was established in 1882 as the Preston Football Club.
