Matt Starr
Matt Starr is an American drummer. He has performed with numerous artists and bands throughout his career, including Ace Frehley, Joe Lynn Turner, Love/Hate, Kevin DuBrow, and Mr. Big. Career In 2005, Starr co-wrote and recorded the Beautiful Creatures sophomore release, ''Deuce'', and toured with the band the same year. The song "Freedom" was used in the 2009 Sandra Bullock film '' The Proposal''. "Anyone", also from ''Deuce'', was used in the FX series ''Sons of Anarchy''. In late 2004, Starr formed the band Hookers & Blow with Guns N' Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed and Quiet Riot guitarist Alex Grossi. The band toured the U.S. in 2004. In 2007, the musician stepped away from drumming and formed The Automatic Music Explosion as a singer, and spent the next two years recording with multi-platinum producer Mike Chapman. Alex Grossi
Alex Grossi (born November 22, 1976) is an American guitarist, best known as the guitarist of heavy metal band Quiet Riot and the hard rock supergroup Hookers & Blow. Biography Early life and career Alexander Nicholas Grossi was born Alexander Nicholas Lesbines on November 22, 1976, and grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut. At age 17 he got a job teaching guitar lessons at Riccardo's Music Center in East Hartford. While living in Connecticut, he was lead guitarist for the band Wake Up Jack. Upon finishing high school, he moved to Boston where he joined up with Angry Salad. The band was soon signed to Atlantic Records and toured extensively until 2001, when the AOL/Time-Warner merger cost them their deal. Montrose (band)
Montrose was an American hard rock band formed in 1973 and named after guitarist and founder Ronnie Montrose. The band's original lineup featured lead vocalist and frontman Sammy Hagar, who later found greater success as a solo artist and as the lead singer of Van Halen. Doug Aldrich
Doug Aldrich (born February 19, 1964) is an American hard rock guitarist. He founded the band Burning Rain with Keith St. John in 1998 and has played with Whitesnake, Dio, Lion, Hurricane, House of Lords, Bad Moon Rising and Revolution Saints. He is currently a member of The Dead Daisies. He has also released several solo albums. Doug toured with former Deep Purple bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes' band in 2015. Whitesnake
Whitesnake are an English hard rock band formed in London in 1978. The group was originally put together as the backing band for singer David Coverdale, who had recently left Deep Purple. The album features a guest appearance from Frehley's former Kiss bandmate Gene Simmons who also co-wrote two tracks. The album features three alternative covers. Anton Fig (born 8 August 1952 in Cape Town, South Africa), known as "The Thunder from Down Under", is a South African session drummer, perhaps best known as the drummer and second-in-command for Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band. David Letterman, for whom the band served as house band on his late-night talk shows, often referred to Fig as "Anton Zip" or "Buddy Rich Jr." Fig is also well known for his work with Kiss, Ace Frehley and Joe Bonamassa. Gilbert J. "Gilby" Clarke (born August 17, 1962) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He had a 3-year tenure as the rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses, replacing Izzy Stradlin in 1991 during the Use Your Illusion Tour, and also featured on '' "The Spaghetti Incident?"'' (1993).
