Matt Ritchie
Matthew Thomas Ritchie (born 10 September 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Newcastle United. Ritchie represented the Scotland national team from 2015 to 2018. Prior to joining Newcastle United in 2016, he played for Portsmouth, Swindon Town and Bournemouth. Although born and raised in England, Ritchie qualified to play for Scotland through his Scottish father. He made his senior international debut on 25 March 2015, in a friendly match against Northern Ireland. Club career Portsmouth Ritchie had been involved in Portsmouth's academy since he turned 13, previously playing football locally in Gosport, starting at the age of six. Gosport
Gosport ( ) is a town and non-metropolitan borough on the south coast of Hampshire, South East England. At the 2011 Census, its population was 82,662. Gosport is situated on a peninsula on the western side of Portsmouth Harbour, opposite the city of Portsmouth, to which it is linked by the Gosport Ferry. 2010–11 Football League
The 2010–11 Football League (known as the npower Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 112th completed season of the Football League. It began in August 2010 and concluded in May 2011, with the promotion play-off finals. The Football League is contested through three Divisions. The divisions are the League Championship, League One and League Two. The winner and the runner up of the League Championship are automatically promoted to the Premier League and they are joined by the winner of the League Championship playoff. The bottom two teams in League Two are relegated to the Conference Premier. This was the first season that npower sponsored the league, after Coca-Cola's contract expired at the end of the 2009–10 season. Paolo Di Canio
Paolo Di Canio (born 9 July 1968) is an Italian former professional footballer and manager. During his playing career he made over 500 league appearances and scored over one hundred goals as a forward. He primarily played as a deep-lying forward, but he could also play as an attacking midfielder, or as a winger. Di Canio was regarded as a technically skilled but temperamental player. Di Canio began his career in the Italian Serie A, playing for Lazio, Juventus, Napoli and Milan, before a brief spell with the Scottish club Celtic. Daniel Carl Ward (born 9 December 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Championship club Huddersfield Town. Daniel Joseph Wilson (born 1 January 1960) is a former footballer and manager. He has previously coached Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City, Milton Keynes Dons, Hartlepool United, Swindon Town, Sheffield United, Barnsley and Chesterfield. Playing career Born in Wigan, Lancashire, Wilson started his career with hometown club Wigan Athletic in the Northern Premier League, scoring once in eight appearances before moving to Bury in the Football League. As a player, he won the Anglo Scottish cup with Chesterfield in 1981, and went on to win the League Cup with both Luton Town in 1988 and Sheffield Wednesday in 1991.
