Matt Parish
Matt Parish is an Australian professional rugby league football coach who is the head coach of Samoa and a former professional rugby league footballer. Playing career Parish played in 55 first-grade matches for the Balmain Tigers between 1988 and 1993. He was tough, durable utility player who was well respected throughout the club before injuries in 1993 restricted him to just five games. In 1994 and 1995, Parish moved to the country and began his coaching career whilst still playing. He captain-coached Gosford Townies to the semi-finals before doing the same with Macquarie Scorpions in the 1996 Newcastle competition. In 1997, he moved to The Entrance Tigers where he similarly had immediate success. Parish continued to coach there until 2006, before moving to take up an NRL assistant coaching role at the North Queensland Cowboys. Balmain Tigers
The Balmain Tigers (also known as the Sydney Tigers from 1995–96) are a rugby league club based in the inner-western Sydney suburb of Balmain. They were a founding member of the New South Wales Rugby League and one of the most successful in the history of the premiership, with eleven titles. In 1999 they formed a joint venture club with the Western Suburbs Magpies club to form the Wests Tigers for competition in the National Rugby League (NRL). They no longer field any senior teams in the lower divisions. At the time of the joint venture only South Sydney Rabbitohs and the St George Dragons had won more titles than the Tigers. Steven John Price (born 5 September 1977) is an Australian professional rugby league football coach and former professional rugby league footballer. He is currently with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks as an assistant to head coach Craig Fitzgibbon. He played as a and for the St. George Dragons and the Balmain Tigers. He was the head coach for the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL between 2012 and May 2014, and Warrington Wolves in the Super League between 2018 and 2021. Phil Veivers (born 25 May 1964) is a former Scotland international rugby league footballer. He played for the Southern Suburbs, St. Helens and Huddersfield as a . He is the brother of Australian international rugby league captain Greg Veivers. Background Veivers was born in Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia. Raymond Morris Hadley OAM (born 27 September 1954) is an Australian talkback radio broadcaster and a rugby league football commentator for Channel Nine. He presents 2GB Sydney's Monday to Friday morning show, and leads the Continuous Call Team, a rugby league-based talkback radio panel program. Early life Ray Hadley was born in 1954 and raised in a "housing commission house in Dundas Valley" Sydney but later went to live with his grandparents on an Eungai Rail farm on the mid north coast of New South Wales. The 2014 Rugby League Four Nations tournament was the fourth staging of the Rugby League Four Nations tournament played in Australia and New Zealand over three weeks from Saturday, 25 October to Saturday, 15 November 2014. The Rugby League Four Nations (known as the Ladbrokes Four Nations in 2016, for sponsorship purposes) was a biennial rugby league football tournament run in partnership between the Australian Rugby League Commission, Rugby Football League and New Zealand Rugby League representing the top three nations in the sport: Australia, England and New Zealand.
