Matt McLean (racing Driver)
Matt McLean (born 1 October 1996) is an Australian racing driver from Melbourne, Australia. He is currently competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series with Eggleston Motorsport, driving the No. 54 Holden VF Commodore. Career Karting McLean began karting in 2004 at 7 years of age, mainly competing in club-level competition until entering his first season of National competition in 2015, winning on debut. McLean went on to finish the season in 4th place. After a successful year, McLean signed with DPE Kart Technology as an official driver for Arrow Karts, and went on to win his first Australian Championship with the brand in 2016. The following year, he finished 2nd place in the Australian Championship, despite winning the most races, and reclaimed the title again in 2018. McLean also represented Australia at the World Final in 2017, where he qualified 1st before crashing out in the race. Eggleston Motorsport
Eggleston Motorsport is an Australian motor racing team which is currently competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series, Dunlop Super3 Series and the Australian GT Championship. The team's current Super2 drivers are Matt McLean and Jack Sipp, with Jack Perkins, Tim Blanchard and Tony D'Alberto stepping in for guest appearances. EMS was born out of Eggleston Motorsport & Service Centre. The motorsport division is now the primary driver for the operation. EMS has been a key competitor in the Dunlop Series since 2010. Matthew Chahda (born 12 September 1993) is an Australian racing car driver. He currently competes in the Dunlop Super2 Series in the No. 18 Ford FG X Falcon Racing career Super2 Series After competing in the 2013 and 2014 Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Car Series, Chahda graduated to the Dunlop Series competing in the first two rounds in 2015 for RSport Engineering and his own family team for the rest of the season and the full series in 2016, again with the family run team. Sydney Supernight
The Sydney SuperNight (formally known as the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight) is an annual motor racing event for Supercars, held at Sydney Motorsport Park in Eastern Creek, New South Wales. The event has been a semi-regular part of the Supercars Championship—and its previous incarnations, the Australian Touring Car Championship, Shell Championship Series and V8 Supercars Championship—since 1992. Since 2018, this is the only active Supercars event held in metropolitan Sydney. In 2020, the event was held twice due to calendar changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
