Matt Dowling (politician)
Matt Dowling is the representative for the 51st District of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He is a member of the Republican Party. Early life According to his official biography, Dowling graduated from Uniontown Area High School in 2003. He studied Theology and Philosophy at Franciscan University of Steubenville and obtained a B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Waynesburg University. Political career Dowling began his political career in 2016, when he defeated Tim Mahoney, a five-term Democratic incumbent, in the general election for the 51st District seat in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The 51st Legislative District consisted of portions of Fayette and Somerset counties. Jeff Coleman
Jeff Coleman (born July 4, 1975) is a former Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Background Coleman was born to a Filipino American family at Whidbey Island Naval Base in Washington in 1975. In the 1980s his family returned to Manila, Philippines to serve as missionaries. It was during that time that the Philippines experienced the People Power Revolution, which Coleman credits for inspiring his "passion for public service." He graduated from Orchard Hills Christian Academy in 1994. He attended Liberty University, earning his degree in Government in 2001. Prior to elective office, Coleman worked in a grocery store, waited tables, and was as radio news anchor in college. Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a potentially life-threatening complication of diabetes mellitus. Signs and symptoms may include vomiting, abdominal pain, deep gasping breathing, increased urination, weakness, confusion and occasionally loss of consciousness. A person's breath may develop a specific "fruity" smell. Onset of symptoms is usually rapid. People without a previous diagnosis of diabetes may develop DKA as the first obvious symptom. DKA happens most often in those with type 1 diabetes but can also occur in those with other types of diabetes under certain circumstances. Triggers may include infection, not taking insulin correctly, stroke and certain medications such as steroids. South Union Township is a township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 10,895 at the 2020 census, an increase over the figure of 10,681 tabulated in 2010. Communities within the township include Hopwood, Hatfield, Hutchinson, Chadville, South Uniontown, Leith, and Revere.
