Matt Carter (racing)
Matt Carter (born May 13, 1981) is an American stock car racing driver and the son of former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car owner Travis Carter. Early career Before moving on to ARCA and NASCAR, Carter ran in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, where he was named Rookie of the Year in 2004. He scored one win in the series, coming at Iowa Speedway in September 2007. ARCA Carter made his debut in the series in 2008. He replaced Frank Kimmel in the No. 46 Stine Seed Ford for Larry Clement and made a run for the championship. He won his first career race at Toledo Speedway after starting 13th. Carted ended the year 3rd in points, earning one win and fourteen top 10s. He also earned Rookie of the Year honors. In 2009, Carter only ran his two races as the No. 46 team cut back its schedule. Iowa Speedway is a 7/8-mile (1.4 km) paved oval motor racing track in Newton, Iowa, United States, approximately east of Des Moines. It has over 25,000 permanent seats as well as a unique multi-tiered RV viewing area along the backstretch. The premiere event of the track is the Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend held yearly in July since its inaugural running in 2007. Kenny Hendrick
Kenny Hendrick (born September 10, 1969) is an American stock car racing driver. He is a former competitor in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Craftsman Truck Series. He is the twin brother of former United States Auto Club, USAC Midget car racing, midget car driver Kara Hendrick, who lost her life in a racing accident in October 1991. Busch Series Hendrick made his Busch Series debut in 2003, when he ran a hodgepodge of entries. He made his debut at Gateway International Raceway, Gateway, where he started 30th for the Stanton Barrett Racing operation. He ran a solid race and came home 21st. The race last run as Drive for the Cure 250 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race that takes place at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The 1985 race was extended to , which still stands as the longest race distance run in Xfinity Series history. It is held before the NASCAR Cup Series' Bank of America Roval 400 in the playoffs. New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a oval speedway located in Loudon, New Hampshire, which has hosted NASCAR racing annually since 1990, as well as the longest-running motorcycle race in North America, the Loudon Classic. Brandon Whitt (born October 15, 1982) is an American former stock car racing driver. A third-generation racer, he has run in all three of NASCAR's top divisions. He is the older cousin of former NASCAR Cup Series driver Cole Whitt. Racing career Whitt won the Rookie of the Year title in NASCAR's Southwest Touring division in 2002 while attending college, and made his Craftsman Truck Series debut in 2003, driving the #38 Chevrolet Silverado for Clean Line Motorsports, a team his father owned. Specialty Racing, LLC was an auto racing team that competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Based in Statesville, North Carolina, it was owned by Doug Taylor and Charles Shoffner. James Carlyle "Carl" Long (born September 20, 1967) is an American professional stock car racing driver, mechanic, and team owner. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 66 Toyota Supra for MBM Motorsports. In the past, he served as a mechanic for Mansion Motorsports, Spears Motorsports, and Travis Carter Motorsports.
