was a Japanese explorer, cartographer, writer, painter, priest, and antiquarian. During the late Edo period and Bakumatsu he journeyed six times to Ezo, including to Sakhalin and the Kuriles. is a Japanese actress and pop singer, from Himeji, Hyogo, Japan. Career 2000–2009: Hello! Project Aya auditioned in 2000 for the fourth Morning Musume & Heike Michiyo Protegee Audition and was selected along with Sheki-Dol to become a part of what was later known as Hello! Project. is a Japanese race car driver currently competing in the Super GT series. He previously competed in the Formula Nippon and IRL IndyCar Series. is a Japanese guitarist born in Shiojiri, Nagano, Japan. He currently resides in the Philippines. Early life Matsuura attended primary school at the Manila Japanese School, an exclusive school for children of Japanese expatriates in the Philippines at that time. He went back to his home country for senior high. He transferred to the International School in Manila a year after, where he graduated in 1986. (born June 16, 1961) is a Japanese musician and video game designer based in Tokyo, Japan. He was born in Osaka on June 16, 1961, and majored in Industrial Society at Ritsumeikan University. He has worked extensively with music and images, and has been active with the J-Pop band Psy-S. Matsuura has been credited with popularizing the modern rhythm-based music video game at his studio NanaOn-Sha. Richard Matsuura (1933 May 2, 1997) was a Japanese American politician from Hawaii. Early life and education Matsuura was born in Waialua in 1933. He graduated from Waialua High School in 1950. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University and a doctorate in agriculture from the University of Minnesota. He met his wife while studying at Bethel Seminary in Minneapolis. David Matsuura (February 21, 1963 – April 18, 2020) was a Japanese American politician and businessman from Hawaii. Early life and education Matsuura was born in Allahabad, India. was lieutenant general in the Imperial Japanese Army in the Second Sino-Japanese War. Biography A native of Fukuoka Prefecture, Matsuura graduated from the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1903.
