Matias Tellez
Matias Tellez is a Norwegian singer-songwriter, composer and record producer. Matias is one of the many young artists that the press have called the Bergen Wave. His music contains elements of pop, rock and Tropicália. He released solo music until starting the band Young Dreams, of which he is the principal songwriter and producer. Background Matias's parents, both from Chile, moved to Norway as political refugees, and his style is heavily influenced by South American sounds, bossa nova, Tropicália and artists such as Os Mutantes, Los Gatos, Jorge Ben, and Caetano Veloso. Matias started playing violin at the age of six and piano aged seven, but found what would become his preferred instrument when he picked up his father's guitar at twelve. At the age of thirteen Matias entered the Eggstock battle of the bands with his band, Frustration To Creation, where he placed second, winning the opportunity to record a demo at Tinitus Studios in Bergen. Tamias Mellez
''Tamias'' is a genus of chipmunks in the tribe Marmotini of the squirrel family. The genus includes a single living species, the eastern chipmunk (''Tamias striatus''). The genus name ''Tamias'' ( el, ταμίας) means "treasurer", "steward", or "housekeeper", which is a reference to the animals' role in plant dispersal through their habit of collecting and storing food for winter use. Veps (band)
Veps is a Norwegian indie pop band from Oslo, Norway. The band consists of four members, Maja Beitrusten Berge (drums), Laura Dodson (vocals and guitar), Helena Mariero Olasveengen (vocals and keyboards) and June Urholt (bass). History The band was founded in 2018, when the girls went to middle school together and teamed up to make a short film, "Liv and Erle", which won an award at the Norwegian Amandusfestival in 2019. They later realised they shared the same musical interests and agreed to start a band together at the age of 14. The band was invited to play at the 2021 Great Escape Festival held annually in Brighton and Hove, England, the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, as well as the Norwegian show case festivals Vill Vill Vest in Bergen and by:Larm in Oslo later the same year. Razika
Razika was a Norwegian alternative indie pop band from Møhlenpris, Bergen with various indie rock, punk, ska and reggae influences. While their early work featured some tracks in English, they primarily composed songs in their native Norwegian. In 2010, they were signed to the Smalltown Supersound label and have released four albums: ''Program 91'' (in 2011), ''På vei hjem'' (in 2013), ''Ut til de andre'' (in 2015) and ''Sånn Kjennes Verden Ut'' (in 2018). Kakkmaddafakka (KMF) is a Norwegian indie rock band formed and based in Bergen. They are known for their high energy live performances. The band is one of many artists who emerged from Bergen, which the Norwegian press has called the "New Bergen Wave", as it is reminiscent of the many successful bands that emerged from Bergen in the late 1990s and the early 2000s. Hove
Hove is a seaside resort and one of the two main parts of the city of Brighton and Hove, along with Brighton in East Sussex, England.
