Mathías Olivera
Mathías Olivera Miramontes (born 31 October 1997) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a left-back for club Napoli and the Uruguay national team. Club career Uruguay Born in Montevideo, Olivera is a Nacional youth graduate. After progressing through the youth setup, he made his professional debut on 13 February 2016, starting and being booked in a 3–0 away win against River Plate. Olivera appeared in only one further match for the club, a 2–0 loss at Plaza Colonia on 29 February 2016. In December of that year, he was bought outright by his agent Daniel Fonseca and assigned to Atenas de San Carlos in Segunda División. In July 2017, Oliveira passed a medical examination at Galatasaray, but eventually did not sign a contract and subsequently returned to Uruguay. Club Atlético River Plate is a Uruguayan football club based in Montevideo. The club currently plays in the Primera División, the top level of the Uruguayan football league system. This is not the same River Plate F.C. that won the Uruguayan league in the early 20th century. History River Plate de Montevideo is the result of the merger of former clubs Olimpia and Capurro. After its foundation on 11 May 1932, one of the first objectives reached was the settlement of a new football pitch. The managers decided to establish the "Olimpia Park" (today called Estadio Saroldi) as its home stadium. 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CONMEBOL)
The South American section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification acted as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar, for national teams which are members of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). A total of 4.5 slots (4 direct slots and 1 inter-confederation play-off slot) in the final tournament were available for CONMEBOL teams. The qualification process began on 8 October 2020 and ended on 29 March 2022. Uruguay's Luis Suárez scored the first goal of the round-robin. The 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 21st edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. Segunda División Profesional is the second division of professional football in Uruguay, established in 1942. The league is sometimes referred to as ''Primera B''. Segunda División was first held in 1942 to replace amateur Divisional Intermedia, establishing a professional league for lower divisions in Uruguay.
