Mathieu Faye
Mathieu Faye (born 27 July 1958) is a Senegalese former basketball player. Faye competed for Senegal at the 1980 Summer Olympics, where he scored 57 points in 6 games. He was born in Dakar. He won the 1983 Korać Cup with France's CSP Limoges basketball team. On June 6, 2021, Faye was enshrined into the FIBA Basketball Hall of Fame. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. They must also be able to adapt to what the defense is allowing and must control the pace of the game. A point guard specializes in certain skills, like other player positions in basketball. CSP Limoges
Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre, commonly referred to as Limoges CSP or CSP, is a French professional basketball club based in the city of Limoges. History The club was founded in 1929, but its peak was during the 1980s and 1990s, when they became the first French club to win a major European-wide title in a team sport, by winning the FIBA European League (EuroLeague) in 1993. In the 1999–2000 season, Limoges won its 9th top-tier level French League title, but it was relegated to the French second division LNB Pro B, after winning it, because of financial problems.
