Mathaniya
Marwar Mathania is a village in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, India. The town is the site of the oldest Karni Mata temple, constructed by Amaraji Charan in the 15th century. Today, Mathania houses a wide variety of communities. Every year a puja (prayer) and a religious fair are organized on Kartik Poornima in memory of Satharam Parihar, who was killed during the demolition of the disputed Mosque of Babur, or Babri Masjid, in Ayodhya. History The village was given to Amraji Bapji in 1471 A.D. by King Rao Jodha, the founder of the Kingdom of Jodhpur and Marwar, as a reward for Amaraji Charan's service and loyalty. Raj Kamal
Raj Kamal (15 January 1928 – 1 September 2005) was a well-known Indian composer. He composed classics such as the unforgettable '' Chashm-e-Buddoor'', ''kahan se aaye badra'', ''kaali ghodi dwaar khadi'', ''Sawan Ko Aane Do'', ''Chand Jaise Mukhde pe'' sung by K. J. Yesudas, ''Taqdeer se koi'' sung by Anandkumar C, and several other well-known songs. He also composed the music of B.R. Chopra's classic television show Mahabharat. Dr. Arjun Deo Charan (born 1954) is a Rajasthani poet, critic, playwright, theatre director and translator. A prominent figure in Indian theatre, he is among the country's top 10 theatre personalities. Early life Charan was born on 10 May 1954 in the village of Mathania, Jodhpur. His father Renvat Dan Charan also was an eminent Rajasthani poet and socialist, who had won Sahitya Akademi Award for his notable work ''Uchhalo''. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and shares its airside with the Jodhpur Airforce Station of the Indian Air Force (IAF). Solar power in India is a fast developing industry. The country's solar installed capacity was 61.966 GWAC as of 30 November 2022. Solar power generation in India ranks fourth globally in 2021. The Indian Government had an initial target of 20 GW capacity for 2022, which was achieved four years ahead of schedule. In 2015 the target was raised to 100 GW of solar capacity (including 40 GW from rooftop solar) by 2022, targeting an investment of 100 billion. ''Paduka'' is an ancient form of footwear in India, consisting of a sole with a post and knob which is positioned between the big and second toe. It has been historically worn in South Asia and Southeast Asia. ''Paduka'' exist in a variety of forms and materials. They might be made in the shape of actual feet, or of fish, for example, and have been made of wood, ivory and silver. They may be elaborately decorated, such as when used as part of a bride's trousseau, but could also be given as religious offerings or themselves be the object of veneration.
