Mateusz Bieniek
Mateusz Bieniek (born 5 April 1994) is a Polish professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Poland national team, a participant in the Olympic Games (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020), and the 2018 World Champion. At the professional club level, he plays for PGE Skra Bełchatów. Career National team On 2 April 2015, he was called up to the Polish national team led by Stéphane Antiga. He debuted in the national team on 28 May 2015 in a match of the 2015 World League against Russia (3–0). He achieved 14 points and was named the ''Most Valuable Player'' of the match. On 30 September 2018, Poland achieved its third title of the World Champions. Poland beat Brazil in the final (3–0) and defended the title from 2014. Blachownia
Blachownia is a town in Częstochowa County, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. It lies about west of the city of Częstochowa. The town belongs to historic Lesser Poland. As of December 2021, it has a population of 9,383. History The history of Blachownia dates back to 1356, when King Kazimierz Wielki gave permission to establish two villages in the area under the jurisdiction of a Starosta from nearby Olsztyn. This resulted in an influx of settlers, and this area of western lesser Poland, located near the border with Czech-ruled Silesia, emerged as a center of industry, with several forges and bloomeries. In the 16th century, when the settlement of ''Łojki'' (future Blachownia) belonged to Kraków Voivodeship, it had as many as 36 forges, powered by water wheels. 2019 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The 2019 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 31st edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. For the first time the EuroVolley was held in four countries: France, Slovenia, Belgium and Netherlands. The tournament ran from 12 to 29 September 2019. The number of national teams participating in the event was also expanded from 16 to 24. Serbia won the title over finalist Slovenia in the final held in Paris. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. Russia Men's National Volleyball Team
The Russia men's national volleyball team is governed by the Russian Volleyball Federation and took part in international volleyball competitions. FIVB considers Russia as the inheritor of the records of Soviet Union (1948–1991) and CIS (1992). Stéphane Antiga (born 3 February 1976) is French professional volleyball coach and former player. He was a member of the France national team from 1998 to 2010, and a participant in the Olympic Games Athens 2004. The current head coach of DevelopRes Rzeszów. Personal life Antiga was born in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He has a wife Stephanie. They have two children - a son Timote and a daughter Manoline. Career as player Clubs In his career he has played for the teams of Paris UC (France), Paris Volley, Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo, Portol Palma de Mallorca, Skra Bełchatów and Delecta Bydgoszcz.
