Mateo Maraš
Mateo Maraš (born 17 December 2000) is a Croatian handball player for Tatabánya KC, MOL-Tatabánya KC and for the Croatia men's national handball team, Croatian national team. He represented Croatia at the 2022 European Men's Handball Championship. Career Club Mateo started his career in the RK Balic-Metlicic team from Split, Croatia, Split. From there he was confirmed by the Macedonian RK Eurofarm Pelister in 2020. There were other offers as well: from RK Zagreb, RK Celje, Ademar León and Fenix Toulouse Handball, but he decided on Pelister's offer. He spent 2 years here, and then the Hungarian front team signed a contract with Tatabánya KC, MOL-Tatabánya KC, who bought him from Pelister. National team On April 28, 2021, he played for the first time in the Croatia men's national handball team against Slovakia and scored 4 goals. European Handball Federation
The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. The Nemzeti Bajnokság I ( en, National Championship I, commonly abbreviated NB I) is the premier men's professional handball league in Hungary, administered by the Hungarian Handball Federation. MOL-Tatabánya Kézilabda Club is a Hungarian team handball club from Tatabánya, that plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. History In Tatabánya, handball boasts a long history. The game took place in an organized form from 1942, within the framework of the Tatabányai Bányász Sport Club (TBSC). The transition from the big field to the small field handball, which was ordered by the Hungarian Handball Association (MKSZ) at the end of 1959, was a fundamental change. Tatabánya could start its new role in the Western Group of NB II. In 1966, TBSC became the champion in the Western Group of NB II, allowing him to start at the forefront. The members of the NB II champion team included Alfréd Antalóczy, Vilmos Drobnits and Sándor Kaló.
