Matagot (company)
A matagot or mandagot is, in the oral traditions of French folklore French folklore encompasses the fables, folklore, fairy tales and legends of the French people. If the cat is given the first mouthful of food and drink at every meal, it will repay its owner with a solid gold coin each morning. Folklore is shared by a particular group of people; it encompasses the traditions common to that culture, subculture or group.
