Masuri is a Village in Ghaziabad Tehsil, Ghaziabad District, Uttar Pradesh, India. Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board, near Dehradun city in the Dehradun district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is about from the state capital of Dehradun and north of the national capital of New Delhi. The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. Sona Masuri (IET No. 7244, BPT 3291, also spelled as Sona Masoori or Sona Mahsuri) is a lightweight and Aromatic_rice, aromatic medium-grain rice which is the result of a cross combination of the rice varieties Sona and Mahsuri.
