''Masterji'' is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and written by K. Bhagyaraj. The film stars Rajesh Khanna and Sridevi. It is a remake of Bhagyaraj's own Tamil film ''Mundhanai Mudichu'' (1983). In the film, Radha falls in love with the new teacher employed in the village school. Being a widower with a son, he snubs her. In response, she publicly accuses him of having an affair with her. The film was released theatrically on 30 August 1985.It was one of the highest grossing Bollywood movie of 1985. Plot Radha ( Sridevi) is a notorious prankster creating a variety of mischiefs along with her gang, which often end up in the village court. Bappi Aparesh Lahiri (born Alokesh Aparesh Lahiri; 27 November 1952 – 15 February 2022), also known as Bappi Da was an Indian singer, composer and record producer. He popularised the use of synthesised disco music in Indian music industry and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks. Kader Khan
Kader Khan (22 October 1937 – 31 December 2018) was an Indian actor, screenwriter and film director. As an actor, he appeared in over 300 Bollywood films after his debut film in the 1973 film '' Daag'', starring Rajesh Khanna, in which he acted as a prosecuting attorney. He was a prolific actor and screenwriter in Hindi cinema in the period late 1970s to 90s and wrote dialogues for 200 films. Khan graduated from Ismail Yusuf College affiliated to Bombay University. ''Mundhanai Mudichu'' () is a 1983 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed and written by K. Bhagyaraj and also stars alongside Urvashi (actress), Urvashi (in her major Tamil debut). The film focuses on Parimala, a mischievous girl, who falls in love with a widower who works as a teacher. She marries him by falsely accusing him of having sex with her, but she has to take drastic steps to win his love. Bhagyaraj based the story of ''Mundhanai Mudichu'' on his friend who lost his wife, and a woman who fell in love with him even as others started gossiping about them. Jayshree Gadkar (21 February 1942 – 29 August 2008) was a noted Marathi and Hindi movie actress and a star of Marathi cinema from the 1950s up to the 1980s. Shyama (born Khurshid Akhtar; 7 June 1935 – 14 November 2017) was an Indian actress who appeared in Hindi films. She was active between 1945 and 1989.
