María Teresa Herrera
María Teresa Herrera Tello (born October 15, 1956, in Santiago, Nuevo León) is a Mexican people, Mexican lawyer. She served in the cabinet of President Vicente Fox as Secretariat of Agrarian Reform (Mexico), Secretary of Agrarian Reform (2000 – 2003). Life She was born on October 15, 1956, in Santiago, Nuevo León. Herrera Tello graduated as a valedictorian with a bachelor's degree in law from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. She was the first woman in the history of Nuevo León to become a magistrate in the state's Superior Court of Justice of Nuevo León, Superior Court of Justice (in Spanish language, Spanish: Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Nuevo León). Eventually she presided over the court and was reelected four consecutive times. Santiago, Nuevo León
Santiago is a municipality located in the center of the Mexican state of Nuevo León. It is part of the Monterrey metropolitan area and its area comprises around 763.8 km². According to the 2005 census, its population is 37,886 inhabitants. "La Boca" Dam, is one of the water reservoirs serving the metropolitan area, and is located within the municipality. "Cola de Caballo" is a famous waterfall and tourist attraction. Santiago, Nuevo León, was named a "Pueblo Mágico" in 2006 by Mexico's Secretariat of Tourism.
