Mary Allen Wright (December 3, 1868 – March 31, 1948) was an American politician who was one of the first three women elected to the Idaho Legislature.She represented Kootenai County. She served three terms in the Idaho House of Representatives as a member of the Populist Caucus The Populist Caucus refers to two short-lived caucuses that have been formed within the Democratic Party caucus in the United States House of Representatives. The first caucus was formed in February 1983 by 14 Democrats, primarily from rural areas. ... from 1899 to 1905. Mary Kathryn "Mickey" Wright (February 14, 1935 – February 17, 2020) was an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. She became a member of the tour in 1955 and won 82 LPGA Tour career events including 13 major championships. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Early life and amateur career Wright was born on February 14, 1935, in San Diego, California, where she attended Hoover High School (San Diego, California), Herbert Hoover High School. Her first important title was the 1952 U.S. Girls' Junior. She attended Stanford University and played for its golf team, but left before graduation. She lost in the final of the 1954 U.S. Women's Amateur, won the 1954 World Amateur Championship, and turned professional later in 1954. Mary Small Einstein Wright (December 13, 1904 – September 15, 1952) was an American designer, sculptor, author and businesswoman who worked to "shape modern American lifestyle". Wright and her husband Russel Wright co-founded the design business, Wright Accessories Inc., where she served as vice-president, factory supervisor and oversaw publicity, marketing, and promotion. She was a founder of America Designs Inc., an organization that supported the works of American industrial designers. Wright co-authored the best-selling book ''Guide to Easier Living'' that proposed lifestyle choices were analogous to "engineering problems with scientific solutions".
