Mary Wilson (broadcaster)
Mary Wilson (born 17 May 1967) is an Irish broadcaster and journalist. She currently presents the RTÉ radio programme ''Morning Ireland'' on RTÉ Radio 1. Until September 2020 she presented Drivetime. In 2006, she was described as "one of Ireland’s leading journalists". Career Wilson joined RTÉ in 1990. Originally from Tipperary, she began her career at RTÉ's local radio service in Cork before moving to Dublin. Whilst there she worked across a wide range of areas in the RTÉ Newsroom. Before presenting ''Drivetime'', she was the legal affairs correspondent for RTÉ News and Current Affairs between 1996 and 2002. She won the "ESB National Media Awards Journalist of the Year" in 2000. In 2002, she was promoted to the post of legal affairs editor. She spent 10 years in the job overall before moving on in 2006. Dublin (; , or ) is the capital and largest city of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. ''Village'' is an Irish current affairs and cultural magazine. Launched in October 2004 and originally published weekly, it is known for its investigative reporting and describes itself as being "driven by a clearly-stated political agenda and focuses on politics not personalities". It was founded, and edited for a number of years by Vincent Browne. In November 2008, it was relaunched under new editor Michael Smith, a former investor in the magazine. The magazine prints ten issues per year and maintains an online presence. Joseph O'Connor
Joseph Victor O'Connor (born 20 September 1963) is an Irish novelist. His 2002 historical novel '' Star of the Sea'' was an international number one bestseller. Before success as an author, he was a journalist with the ''Sunday Tribune'' newspaper and ''Esquire magazine''. He is a regular contributor to Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) and a member of the Irish artists' association Aosdána.
