Mary Stuart Gile
Mary Stuart Gile (née Sinclair; March 24, 1936 – October 15, 2019) was a Canadian-born American politician from New Hampshire. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she attended public schools, and graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in physical education, health and recreation. She moved to the United States and became a naturalized United States citizen in 1969. She worked for the State of New Hampshire for 16 years, acquiring her M.Ed. from the University of New Hampshire and an Ed.D. in educational leadership from Vanderbilt University's George Peabody College. She married her second husband, Robert "Bob" Gile, becoming stepmother to his son, Jack. In 1976, the couple had a child together, Robert. Arthur Ellison (October 7, 1943 – March 23, 2024) was an American politician in the state of New Hampshire. Education Ellison earned a B.A. from Earlham College in 1965, an M.A.T. from Northwestern University, in 1966 and a Masters in Education from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1978. Political career On November 6, 2018, Ellison was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives where he represented the Merrimack 27 district. Ellison assumed office on December 5, 2018. Ellison was a Democrat. Ellison endorsed Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries. Personal life and death Ellison resided in Concord, New Hampshire Concord () is the capital city of the U.S. state of New Hampshire and the seat of Merrimack County.
