Marvel Heroes is a strategy fantasy board game for two to four players. Designed by Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepitello, with Roberto Di Meglio, Simone Peruzzi e Salvatore Pierucci, was created by Nexus Editrice. The English version was released by Fantasy Flight Games in 2006. Overview Each player chooses to play one of four 4-character Marvel Comics superhero teams. Each player also controls the archenemy of one of the opponents' team to the left of you. These 20 characters, listed below, are represented in the game by fully colored miniatures; other heroes, villains, and characters in the Marvel Universe are represented by cards which influence game play. Each turn, a player manipulates one or more of his four main heroes and plays cards to solve mysteries, stop crimes and defeat villains. ''Marvel Heroes'', also known as ''Marvel Heroes 2015'', ''Marvel Heroes 2016'' and ''Marvel Heroes Omega'', was a free-to-play Massively multiplayer online role-playing game, massively multiplayer online Action role-playing game, action role-playing video game developed by Gazillion Entertainment and Secret Identity Studios. Characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Deadpool, and Wolverine (character), Wolverine were playable characters that could be unlocked in the game. The story was written by Brian Michael Bendis. Players who pre-purchased a game pack received early access to the game on May 29, 2013. The game was officially launched on June 4, 2013, on Microsoft Windows. An OS X version followed in November 2014. The game was renamed to ''Marvel Heroes 2015'' on June 4, 2014. Marvel's ABC television series are a set of interconnected American television series created for the broadcast network ABC, based on characters that appear in publications by Marvel Comics. Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, they are set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and acknowledge the continuity of the franchise's films and other television series. When categorizing their wider television slate, Marvel considers the ABC series to be their "Marvel Heroes" series. The first television series in the MCU was ''Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'', developed by '' The Avengers'' (2012) writer/director Joss Whedon for Marvel Television and ABC.
