Marv Fleming
Marvin Lawrence Fleming (born January 2, 1942) is a former professional American football player, a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, seven with the Green Bay Packers and five with the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of five History of the National Football League championship, NFL championship teams. Fleming is the first player in NFL history to play in five Super Bowls—with Green Bay (Super Bowl I, I, Super Bowl II, II) and Miami (Super Bowl VI, VI, Super Bowl VII, VII, Super Bowl VIII, VIII). He played under Pro Football Hall of Fame, hall of fame head coaches Vince Lombardi and Don Shula for five seasons each. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. Super Bowl VI was an American football game between the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Dallas Cowboys and the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Miami Dolphins to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 1971 season. The Cowboys defeated the Dolphins by the score of 24–3, to win their first Super Bowl. The game was played on January 16, 1972, at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana, the second time the Super Bowl was played in that city.
