Martyr's Memorial B-Division League
Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League ( Nepali: शहीद स्मारक बी डिभिजन लीग) is the second tier of the association football league of Nepal football league system after the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. It was established in 2003 and is run by the All Nepal Football Association.It is currently being held in ANFA Complex. Structure The league is formatted as a single round-robin tournament with the top two team getting promoted to the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League and the bottom two teams relegated to the Martyr's Memorial C-Division League. This structure has not remained constant however as the league structure is changed every year by the All Nepal Football Association. Martyr's Memorial A-Division League
Martyr's Memorial A-Division League ( Nepali: शहीद स्मारक ए- डिभिजन लिग; formerly known as the Kathmandu League Championship) is the top divisions of football in Nepal. Contested by 12 to 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. The season usually runs from November to March with every team playing each other once and the top six teams reach the Super Six round, where the teams again play each other once. It is officially known as the Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. A new Nepal National League was created in 2011 to give chance to compete A level tournaments to the clubs outside Kathmandu valley. Damak ( Nepali: दमक), a city in eastern Nepal is one of the oldest municipalities in Jhapa District in Province No. 1 of Nepal. It is situated between the Ratuwa River in the east and the Maawa River in the west. It has Sivalik Hills in its north and ends with the intersection of Ratuwa River and Maawa River in the south. Himalayan Sherpa Club
Himalayan Sherpa Club is a Nepali professional football club based in the city of Kathmandu (originally from Hattigauda), that competes in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League, top flight of Nepali football. They play at the Dasarath Rangasala Stadium. History The club was founded on 25 September 2006 and played their first tournament at the 2007 edition of the Aaha! Gold Cup. According to RSSSF, the club was "promoted from 4th to 2nd level within 2 months". The club were promoted to the ANFA 'A' Division League one year later. Due to financial disagreements between the League Association ANFA and the Nepal Football Association, the 2007/08 season was canceled before the start of the season. 2008 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League
The 2008 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League was the 2008 season of the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. A total of 9 teams competed in the league. The season began on 9 September 2008 and concluded on 29 September February 2006. Swayambhu Club won the league and was promoted along with Himalayan Sherpa Club, Bansbari Club, and Koilapani Polestar Club. Being based in Nawalparasi, Koilapani would therefore become the first ever team from outside the Kathmandu Valley to be promoted to the A-Division League. Machhindra Football Club
Machhindra FC (formally known as Machhindra Bahal Club) is a Nepali professional football club from the central Kathmandu, neighborhood of Keltole, playing in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. History Machhindra FC was established in 1973. For sponsorship reasons, it was named ''Machhindra Bahal Club'' in 2004, and ''Machhindra Energizer FC'' in 2006. The club was promoted to Nepal's top football division in 2004. The team was one of the first teams in Nepal to appoint a foreign coach, Johan Kalin, in 2013, claiming that he was the highest qualified coach in Nepalese football history. Sankata Boys Sports Club, commonly known as Sankata Club, is a Nepalese professional football club based in Kathmandu, that competes in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. Named after Sankata Temple, the club has won the national championship three times, most recently in 1985. History Being a successful club in the 1980s, Sankata won the title of the national championship in 1980, 1983 and 1985. Due to poor performance just winning five games out of 22 in A-Division league 2010 the club was relegated to Martyr's Memorial B-Division League after 38 years. Tokha ( ne, टोखा) is a List of cities in Nepal, municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committee (Nepal), Village development committees Dhapasi, Jhor Mahankal, Gonggabu, Gongabu, Tokha Chandeshwari and Tokha Saraswati on 2 December 2014. Budhanilkantha
Budhanilkantha is a city and municipality in Kathmandu district of Bagmati province of Nepal. It is the 3rd largest city in the Kathmandu Valley after Kathmandu and Lalitpur. As per 2021 Nepal census, the city population was 179,688 and 26,678 households. It was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Hattigauda, Khadka Bhadrakali, Chapali Bhadrakali, Mahankal, Bishnu, Chunikhel and Kapan.
